Carb Mixture Needle NH

Looking for advice as to how to open u-joint to swap top piece to new carb needle, or am I to buy a new one?

Better to anneal the piece you're attempting to open but I've spread them open without also - be patient ! Not all u-joints are the same - might have to dress it down to fit.

The u joint pins are peened. Does Lang's sell a replacement top half for '26-'27? If so, I can just add a new one to the new needle.
