It will not do much good except pump grease into the axle in the first pic. Look closely at stans pic, two fitting right there will do the trick. You can use little button fittings that you drive in a hole, very inconspicuous that way, and it delivers grease right where you want it.

I've been running Ruckstell's in all my cars for 60 years, and see no need for additional lubrication. However, mine are the earlier version.

Aye, there’s the rub, Larry HOWEVER! …………. Of course the early style doesn’t need extra lubrication. Stan had it correct.
