With the unit still put together? Just curious as I recharged mine individually taken off the flywheel but was wondering.

Do it just like an in car recharge.

Dan, Would the meter need to be removed first to avoid damage?

Every HCCT has a wire from the mag ring terminal to the HCCT.
Disconnct the mag ring wire from the HCCT.
This will isolate the mag ring from the rest of the HCCT.
Then recharge the magnets the same as you would in the car.
