Remembering our veterans and the Model T

Post by ModelT46 » Thu Nov 11, 2021 6:46 pm

As a Korean war era veteran I am also the owner of a Model T Ford. I assume that there are numerous Model T Ford owners that are military veterans. I am old enough to remember when it was called Armistace (sp) Day. 80 years ago on November 11, 1941 my father dorve his 1938 Packard from northern Minnesota (along with me and my older brother) to our home In Minneapolis. The storm closed many roads, but we made it home only to get stuck in our driveway.
