I was told this morning that at one time there was a set of plans that someone sold that were for making/replicating the body of a 1910 - '12 Commercial Roadster. Does anyone know whether this is factual??
TIA.

Don't know of any site or individual that has full size or dimensioned plans for sale.
Ray Wells can do a '12 (late'11) body for under $3k.

I have an 11 commercial roadster in Battle Creek Michigan if you want to come and make a cardboard pattern. Mel Miller had 11-12 iron clad body plans at one time. Mark Eyre

I certainly am no expert about these. But there is a considerable difference between 1910 and 1912 roadsters. I couldn't begin to name all the changes, but just having looked at dozens of photos of them, I can see numerous differences. The aforementioned steel clad 1912 bodies is just one thing. I have noticed changes in the back of the rear deck, the amount of overhang of the rear deck, differences in the seat riser/tool box on the back, and differences in the mother-in-law seat itself if so equipped.
I would suspect that some of the changes may have had carryover or crossover times. But regardless, I suspect one needs to decide upon a timeline, and determine which variation they want to build.
For whatever it is worth, I have some of a very old reproduction steel-clad 1912 MIL or commercial roadster body, along with many other parts that could make up most of a decent 1912 roadster. If I live long enough, and got at three or four other cars restored first? I do still have hopes of putting that project pile together.
If good wood plans do surface? I would maybe be interested in a copy also.
