Atwater Kent Distributor

Post by Petrah Phyre » Sat Dec 18, 2021 7:12 pm

Just cleaned up the distributor for my speedster. Mocked up a battery, coil and single plug. At first I could not get the coil to fire. Closed up the point gap and now I get a nice blue spark. Next is to reinstall. I know there are threads on here about base timing, so I will be searching for wisdom from the past. Built myself a TDC tool for about $1.50 in hardware. Degrees after?

Found this for buzz coils. Would think it would be the same for distributor?
