Body bracket to frame mounting?

Post by varmint » Sat Feb 19, 2022 10:39 pm

This is where the 1926 Coupe body sub-frame meets the frame on the driver's side.
The front bracket (pink) is not yet installed.
Q: Should there be any gap between the two (red circled) holes once everything is in place?
Thanks.

After pouring over images I found one from Bruce Brakke that shows the answer.
The other body mounts all have blocks of wood.
