Loom clip? Haven't heard of that animal.

Post by varmint » Tue Feb 22, 2022 3:08 pm

So, the Ford Service manual states that there are three loom clips on the bottom of the radiator.
Well, I do not see any on our radiator, nor any witness marks concerning where they may have lived.
A parts search for "loom" did not help.
A parts search for "clip" gave many results but not enough specific info.
I have a feeling that installing them on the radiator now is probably a good idea.
help?
Thanks.

Yes, it is a late '26 radiator.

Your radiator may fit the '26-'27, but it's non-Ford. The Ford '26-'27 radiator has soldered in clips on the lower tank for the passenger headlamp harness and generator wire.
