Hi all,
I was curious if anyone had any information on this heater. I can’t find anything online or even one that looks like it. It’s been completely professionally restored. Not sure what ima do with it yet but may sell to fund other parts etc. No idea what something like this would even be worth. Came out of a ‘34 Hudson but seems like it would be generic for cars of the period. Hasn’t be used since it was redone. All I was told it was pricey lol.
Just realized pics got blurry when uploaded…but it says Perfection Hot Water “Heater” on the front. Other tag says Perfection Hot Water Heater product of The Eaton Bumper & Spring Service Co. Cleveland, OH. Reissue Pat No. 17131 MOD. 2198 Ser: S15554
I think Eaton made Ruckstell Transmissions

These typically have doors that direct heat mounted to that center wing nut. Yours are missing.

Re: Perfection Hot Water Heater
That's a nice piece, but using it on a T would require a water pump. Mounting space and sufficient current to run the motor might also be issues. Old Buicks (1940s) had a neat and compact little defrost heater coil, fan and motor unit that would be nice for a T with a water pump. As I remember, they had a smaller motor than a typical car heater and would probably require less current to operate.

This one didn’t have doors, the nut holds the front on. I found this one like it but not the same looks to be later copy:speedytinc wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 1:25 pmThese typically have doors that direct heat mounted to that center wing nut. Yours are missing.
