I bought one of those to find out what was inside. It seems to run ok but I didn’t run it for enough to check the mileage claims. The venturi slides up and down, I suppose it acts as an air valve like the flapper or balls in a Kingston.

Air Friction carbs are fairly common, but other than ads, I have seen very little info or items pertaining to the carbs.  A few years ago I did find a watch fob, and a hat/lapel pin. Im not sure if I ever posted a photo of the watch fob and pin.  So Ill post them here, just in case .....
