Didn’t know if anyone else saw this, but this seems to be a recent addition to the pavilion. We went by this weekend on the way back from Orange Beach, thought I would share these pictures. Looks to me a later than 1918 model T but 🤷‍♂️. It was neat to see one out in the wild, my kids could see what one with a body looked like 😂

That is an interesting radiator. I have never seen one like that before.
Was it a guard, like a brush guard used on the WWII trucks?

Looks like an aftermarket radiator of some sorts. I am no expert on those, but there were a lot of companies producing radiators for Fords. Peerless is a well-known one.

That is great to see. You are right about it being later Jacob. The front spring mount was changed to that in 1921 I believe.

Thank you! That makes more sense. maybe the peerless radiators were stronger or more resistant to dust, and the general army way of treating equipment...

That looks like a kerosene heater. Or maybe it's an experimental robot disguised as a heater. I have no idea why it would be there.

Thank you for the idea. I wonder if it is some sort of search light thing they would have had on the ship. Maybe it is a heater, with the holes and all.
it looks like it has a handle of some sort. Kind of cumbersome for a handle...

I bet it is a heater... I found a video online of one kind of like it. Look up "Old Tiny House kerosene heater". It comes right up.

That is what is called a "Honeycomb" radiator. Some of the other cars had it as standard equipment. I had a 38 Plymouth which had one. They cool very well if clean, but cannot be rodded out. Only can boil it out.

Norman mentioned the "Honeycomb" radiator. There were many sources of these radiators all with their favorite core and praises of why it was the BEST. Here are only a few examples of the different types.

Y’all are correct it was a heater. I was happy to see it leaked oil as well 😂. It was a nice car neat little addition.

There is no way you could use that heater in a moving car or even light it in the back seat without causing a fire. An officer would have a blanket over his lap and possibly a charcoal fired foot warmer.

I guess that they just wanted to display the heater in a period correct setting.
