Got the doors opening and closing

Post by thom » Mon Jun 06, 2022 12:33 am

The drivers side rear door on our '21 Touring had become difficult to open, and even more difficult to close. Finally, today I removed the left rearmost body mounting bolt and installed a couple more flat washers. Problem solved. I hope it's good for another 101 years. Our car turned 101 on May 28.

It now appears that the car is yard-art due to wheel issues that I cannot afford to fix. Door fit, or not won't matter.

I would not make any snap decisions.
