I copied the second photo you posted Tom, and sent it to a friend of mine who just happens to live in Banning.
He replied that that shot is looking west and may be San Gorgonio street.
Since I'm not really familiar with that area, I can only assume that there is little or no remaining evidence of the structures in that photo. Sad to know.
Keep them coming Tom. I really enjoy seeing these old photos.
