For Sale Presently in Texas on Facebook Marketplace
Seems like a about a month ago, someone posted about the increasing price of Model T's on the current market and quoted some high prices. I replied on the post, saying that i had seen some reasonable priced cars in reasonable condition for sale on Facebook Marketplace, here in Texas. Last night, I made a list of a lot of those, currently available. It is not a complete list as I didn't include cars that were ridiculously overpriced, regardless of whether they were parts cars or show winners. Here's what I found: Parts car including 25 pickup bed, bits and pieces of a TT enclosed cab (no doors), and a 26-27 roadster or front half of touring body. price $800.00 ; restored 1927 coupe $13,000.00 ; driver 1926 roadster $11,500.00 ; 1926 tudor parts car missing only passenger rear fender $2100.00 ; restored 1927 3 seat depot hack $15500.00 ; 1927 coupe driver $9500.00 ; 1923-24 roadster driver $9000.00 ; 1922 touring driver $6500.00 ; 1927 fordor sedan restored $13000.00 ; 1922 huckster truck restored 13500.00 ; 1926 roadster body parts (no doors or deck lid $800.00 ; 1917 touring driver !2,995.00 ; 1925 pickup driver $12000.00 ; 1927 coupe needing restoration $7000.00. As I said this is not represented as a complete list, NOR do I have ANY connection or involvement with any of these. I have not contacted any sellers. My description of the car or parts condition is mine subject to what I could see in each photo. Your judgement may vary. If you have any interest and these cars are not shown on Facebook Marketplace in your locale, I would try to contact seller and put them in touch with you. otherwise this information is for information, only.

Re: For Sale Presently in Texas on Facebook Marketplace
Asking price isn't always an indication of market price. What they sell for is a better indication of value, but not always. A lot depends on the buyer's geographic area, knowledge, car condition, credit ratings but mostly the desire to own "that one".
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I agree, Frank. It never hurts to try to negotiate. It depends on how bad the seller wants to sell.
