Unique accessories

Post by cslandry » Sat Jul 16, 2022 8:38 pm

I saw some unique (to me at least) Model T accessories on cars at a show today. Anybody have any info on these?

Mighty weird looking wheels. Personally, I don't like the looks of any of that stuff on an otherwise nice looking M-I-L roadster. No wait a minute...upon further looking, maybe it's a '12 Tourabout!! I need glasses!!

There used to be a T front axle at a gas station near here with a set of those wheels on it. I don't see how they could work very well. The best setup is lightweight wire wheels with pneumatic balloon tires and double-acting hydraulic shocks.

It's actually a roadster with an aftermarket rear seat accessory and a custom made top arrangement. According to the owner, the rear seat was a period accessory, but he had the top made.
