Found this starter in the pile - does anyone know anything about the bendix?

Not specifically, but I have another, different looking non bendix bendix.
Its a starter drive that gets around the bendix patents.
Real neat display piece.

For some reason I wanna say that is a ‘28 AR bendix drive. The AR had the same diameter shaft as the T, but used a cam operated drive. Not sure if they would have been interchangeable, but suspect someone put it on the T starter but never ran it

The front bushing was modified too - what you see sticking out does not turn. Only the gear+ does.
