Here’s a 1939 colorized photo of a 27 T Coupe in a migrant camp in Oklahoma.
It may or may not be sort of staged with the guy playing a guitar but the T Coupe is the real deal that’s about at the end of the line. Expand the picture and take a closer look of a real world used up T. The added color really brings it out.

Model A wheels, probably a mile of baling wire....the lady sitting in the car looks almost as road-weary as the car.

It looks like 6 people there! I wonder if they all fit in the coupe or if there was another car nearby?

The license plates position of the State & year are either Oklahoma 1926 or 1930 and it looks like the have a visible 30. All the other yellow plates have the year in a different place

The Fort Smith and Western Railway (reporting mark FSW) was a railroad that operated in the states of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The railroad's main line extended 197 miles (317 km) from Coal Creek, Oklahoma (about 7 miles east of Bokoshe, Oklahoma) to Guthrie, Oklahoma, with an additional 20 miles (32 km) of trackage rights over the Kansas City Southern Railway between Fort Smith, Arkansas and Coal Creek. Guthrie was the territorial capital of Oklahoma, and a junction point with the Santa Fe Railway. The Fort Smith and Western owned a subsidiary, St. Louis, El Reno and Western Railway, which began operating 42 miles (68 km) between Guthrie and El Reno, Oklahoma in June 1904.

I could not find an acoustic/parlor guitar like the one pictured. It has distinctive F-note cutouts and the hour-glass tailpiece.

The road surface doesn't look what I would expect but everything else is in concert. Great photo !

This is the third photo that I have seen of that car and the woman sitting in it. This is the first that I have seen of her husband, who was an unemployed guitar player. I have a book of old Ford-related photos (I don't recall the title at the moment since I bought it some 30 years ago). It has a photo of that woman that was part of a series of photos from an insurance company project, I believe. I will look for the photo tonight.

Edit. The photo I referred to is in "Fords Forever" by Lorin Sorensen.

Another photo of the same scene was used for The New Lost City Ramblers' 1997 Album "There Ain't No Way Out". They must have been added in later with magic? Good music anyway, and a good photograph.

Pat, it's Prague, Oklahoma, Lincoln County, photographed by Russell Lee in June 1939.
The colorization is very good.

Could that be a river in the background, not a road. If this is a smaller railroad company, I'm not sure they would have built such a large embankment and crossing bridge just to cross a road. This is relatively flat country. A river on the other hand would HAVE to have structures of this magnitude. Just my humble opinion.

That’s the same car. This picture has the passenger door lock missing too as my earlier post picture did.
Looking close at the black and white picture you can see an outhouse in the background. The colorized one looks like the background was altered in some way.

Most likely during the great depression. Many people lived in their cars or on the street those days and others left for California. When I look at the picture, I see a road near where they are camped, and a river farther in the background.
