Hey guise,
I have noticed several of you rewind your own field coils on the ford magneto and don’t remember anyone explaining how
The fresh coils are attached to the coil ring. Do you use some kind of adhesive or are they a friction fit? It would make sense
To glue it some way
Thanks Jim.

Re: Magneto coils
Follow the instructions in the booklet "Electrical System. There are illustrations. I got the amphanol at the surplus radio store, and the boat resin at a local boat shop. I rewound 3 coil rings, installed 2 in two of my cars and auctioned one at a club meeting. It is quite time consuming but I was able to do it. Now I just buy them from one of the vendors if I need one.
