I only have 1 for 2023. I promise to pay equal amounts of attention to my significant other and my 1914 roadster.
As both are my favorites and share my attention, I think its only fair that I give each one equal attention. Now not being a total fool, I'm not sharing this resolution with my S/A.
My '14 roadster is getting some love, a fresh motor, and transmission. Also disc brakes and a gear reduction starter. So my S/O needs some love as well. I've put a lot of thought into her needs. Last year I bought her a new stove. This new year I've decided to buy her a brand new set of pots and pans, new dish rags, and a handheld pot scrubber. I think this about makes it even. I don't want my roadster to feel unloved. Think this just about coverers my new years resolution.
just sayin'

Re: New Years Resolution
Well, you could get your S/O a brand new iron, and maybe an exercise bike, so she can stay in good shape for cranking.
While you're at it, get a football helmet to keep the iron from hurting you when it hits you in the head, and a sleeping bag so you don't have to lay on the bare garage floor next to your T when you are sleeping.
And have a Happy New Year!

A real bike would be good. You can put it on the running board so she can go for help while you try to fix the car. If you can't fix it she could ride you double back home!

Nothing quite like giving gifts that keep on giving! I'd be a little bit careful around an iron if one was given though...you might just find an imprint of it on your face someday!!
