Henrietta"s new friends.

Henrietta has some new lodgers. I was about to evict them but thought zi should consult beforehand.
Evict and demolish or allow them to remain?

I wouldn't want them in the carburetor or crankcase. If you don't have a band on your generator, they will probably nest in it, sooner or later.

Well, the bugs you can squash.

The puppy should be riding up with you in the front, so he can hang his head out the side and bark at the chickens.

Bill. the puppy is a 7 year old Labrador, who thinks he is still a puupy, and quite easily jumps up onto the tray. He rides on the left side, head next to where the passenger would be sitting, taking in the sights and the fresh air.

The bugs are OK there. When they plug your carburetor with mud it's not helpful. :)

One could admire the mud dauber's tenacity and also their discerning taste and preference for Model Ts as
they build their nests (and I guess they do eat spiders), but here removal and crushing quickly occurs.

That is an interesting body on your T and the box is nicely built over the fender.

All it is more like a pick-up than a ute. On our coupe utilities the tray area is integral with the body, like your Rancheros. This one is a traytop. All the tray sits above the fenders. The sideboards are hinged so they can be lowered for loading, or removed completely. I made these for the car, as the flat tray is less than ideal for carrying stuff. The ironwork is original old blacksmith made stuff from various sources, except the 6 hinges. I had to make those, using old iron from fencing droppers.

Original, the car was an original 1925 Ford tourer. Duncan and Fraser built the 1925 model bodies for Ford, prior to the commissioning of the new Ford Plant in Geelong for the 26-7 improved cars. They were built in Adelaide and shipped to Geelong. They were assembled onto the rolling chassis in a temporary facility in the old Dalgety wool store building. Hence they are often referred to in Australia as Dalgety Fords. This style of body was the first time all Ford bodies were the same in Australia, the individual agents/distributors in each state losing their business with Ford.
