Here is a 1924 Hoover bodied TT funeral coach. According to the article it was in good shape and then recently restored. It sold at auction for $44.000 dollars.
Wonder how it would be looked upon at a car show or a parade. Interesting to be sure.

About 18 years ago I was at a local car show with my Model T among over 200 cars. . And only one 1950 Flexible bodied Cadillac chassis funeral coach that many attendees avoided and had plenty negative comments. If there was a 1950 Ambulance, one could only assume that there would be more positive reaction and interest.

The TT hearse was on the Funetorium facebook page on facebook. It’s a site that is exclusively antique hearse’s. It was sold at a Mecumn auto auction and someone put it on the Funetorium facebook site. It seems to be dedicated to antique hearses I think. It’s different!!
And it would seem to me that TT hearses would have a limited audience? But what do I know!

That hearse came from Clearwater FL, is original, now restored. Originally know to be owned by Berry Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, NC, in 1950. Believed to have been made by Hackney Bros, Wilson, NC, a commercial body company. Feature vehicle in Model T Times, July-Aug 2022. This article by the owner stated mfg. by Hoover Wagon Co., York, PA, but another identical Hackney built hearse body to this one in unrestored state was on AACA site a few years ago.
Photo taken in FL as I was visiting owner to provide advice on getting it running, the TT had spent a few years in a museum in TX in dry display. Had been offered in T Times classifieds for 50k. It’s in outstanding condition too.

There is one in Put in Bay Ohio with natural wood, much better looking than this one, but do not think it is for sale, even has a wood coffin for a cooler.

An article was in the Model T Time in 2022. It had previously been (in its lifetime) on loan and on display at The National Museum of Funeral History in Houston, TX.

Gosh, it would cost my family/clan a bundle to hire it up here for me in a wood toe-pincher casket. They wouldn't.
I've been told I have to buy my casket early from a concern close by. Ugh, concern = builder, mfgr or company.
Beautiful hearse/funeral coach!
Damned old Ford. Wouldn't that be an honor for the final ride. But how would they send pics to me?
May I "go" (we use the correct, simple word that most will not dare) with Fords and Twin City's around me.
And dragonflies if it's warm.
They have been told to have a party after. No somber affair. I have an Irish name. Party. Works great with German's too.
