Re: U-Joint question
It appears to be an adapter from the transmission output to an auxiliary transmission input. Doesn't appear to be for the old Warfords as they were/are square on both input and output.
Good Luck,

Scott, you might try post here: https://forums.aaca.org/forum/66-what-is-it/ or https://www.smokstak.com/forum/forums/a ... trucks.57/
I am thinking it is for different make of car or truck that used that configuration.

Perhaps it’s for a Muncie, older post shows similar.

Re: U-Joint question
Chevrolet used 4 bolts and splines like that. Others probably did too.
Somewhat similar. 34-36 Chev.

Re: U-Joint question
I pickup some once they where marked Chevy and I have seen them in a Chevy trans adapted to a model T before.
I had hopped they could be used to make a Muncie coupling but the square is to large. I did use one of the cages to make a
model A to Model T joint If one was to use a model A trans for a Aux. trans.
Craig.

Re: U-Joint question
Does it have a game fitting? Some older tractors had the splined pto shaft and a square drive shaft to an implement.
