TT Windscreen adjustment

Can anyone tell me what the slotted bracket looks like that adjusts the upper windscreen on a 26 TT? I will be needing (2) and (2) of the handknobs.
The 26 upper windscreen and adjustment is completely different than the ‘25 (the green one).

Maybe the same carried over to the 1928/29 Model A closed cab? The T part number is T-50214X Arm (windshield swing 1926/27). This was a part listed in the Model T body book not the general parts catalog and don't have the Model A part book(s) to see if same number was used with the T changed to an A.

I am going with, the style shown on the green TT was used 1925 to sometime early in 1926, then was changed, going by the difference in part number along with years listed in the body parts book. While it is hard to see in the illustrations in the 1927 parts book, they look straight not bent.

Thank you James. To further add to my confusion, both trucks( by serial number) are Oct of 1926 builds. I was told the green one was a ‘25, its not. So here are two supposed 1926 cabs built the same month with completely different screen adjusters. My green truck, like yours James, has the adjusting knob with male threads, the mating female threads being in the bracket that is riveted to the frame pillar. My black ‘26 has the bracket that is bolted to the frame pillar and utilizes a male stud. Having been restoring for nearly 40 years, I would argue that the attached pic shows a bolted up bracket that has likely never been removed or molested. The shown pic comes from the later build of the two trucks.

You posted while I was typing. What you are proposing makes sense. Could you by chance post a pic of that page or the cover of that parts catalog so I can source a copy? I have lots of window related questions and maybe the body book would answer them.

Snyders Antique Auto Parts has A and T parts, looks like the model A windshield straight swing arm, nut, and washer will probably work. Same as what is on my 1926 coupe. Snyders has an on-line catalog.

I found the Arm, Swing for 1925 were all listed as part number: 17316X With no separate listing for the TT.
The 1926 cars listed as: 50214X The TT listing was: T-17316 AX
Unfortunately, there wasn't a drawing of the parts for comparison. Searching our vendors, I was unable to find the parts with those numbers.

With the locking stud and the arm bracket at about the same elevation, I expect the arm to be straight or slightly curved and NOT the Angled type. Just my thoughts.

That looks very much like the swing arm on my 27 Tudor. Langs #45463. They list the needed washers,studs and knobs.

Terry, thank you for the research! I too would expect the slotted arm to be straight as shown in John’s pic. The offset lug would insure a tight closure with just a slight lift of the arm before locking. Maybe John can confirm the actual use. It looks to me that the TT windscreen was changed for the ‘27 model year. Maybe these same parts were used for early A’s?

On the 27 style as I close the window a slight upward push on the slide arm pulls the window tight. To help hold it open, I have filled a round Knoch at the wide open position on each arm so it drops over the tightner stud.

You can buy the Model A style with a single notch about center of the slot or there is one that has a number of notches, Snyders lists them in the Model A section, didn't look in the T section of the online catalogue.
