accessori fender brace?

Post by Gen3AntiqueAuto » Fri Nov 10, 2023 11:18 am

Does anyone make a repro of the fender brace that runs across the front of the radiator and clamps on to the outer lip of the front fenders (it's the 25 I'm talking about) ? If someone is making these I would like to surprise my customer, this car has tons of other accessories on it and the fenders have drooped....

I'm not aware of any reproductions, but if you put a wanted ad in the classifieds someone may offer up an original. :)

I have at least a half dozen sets of front fender braces. These were sold back in the day because the front fenders tended to droop a little or sometimes a lot. Usually because of loading items on the fenders, posing for pictures on the fenders, tying the big dead bull moose to the fenders, or, ** add your reason here**. Sometimes people don’t even realize their fenders droop until they install one of these. These sets vary from complete NOS sets, complete sets with new metal rods, and even some orphans ends for the doityerselfer. I’m thinking $80. All the way down to $10 for the orphan ends, depending on what I have and what you want. These look great as is on a barn find or unrestored car or TT truck, and also serve a great purpose to straighten up Lizzie a bit. Let me know what you may be looking for, and I’ll send some pics. Tmorsher@icloud.com is the only way to get in touch, unless you knock on my door which I will not answer. Thanks!
