Went to local car show at nearby village, taking Dixie the '27 touring.

Lots of mostly street rods, and customs, but one Model A, and my T. Family beside me had a curious son of 9, so I asked him if he knew anything about the early Ford and Henry. Wasn't prepared for the verbal dissertation on Ford! Oh my. The younger generation growing up in a car family is just fine!

Larson sat in the T with me and recited much of the history, even the alphabet Fords! Was fun for me and him for sure.

One of his favorite movies is Oh Brother!. So had my trusty 'Chopper' on board, and he repeated the movie line...." I hate cows" and he burped the Tommy gun!

Won a trophy for Top Twenty, and of course presented it to Larson for his fun and mine. Good day with a good kid.

Lawson and my award for him, knowing Henry and the Ford so well at his age!

The best way is always the simplest. The attics of the world are cluttered up with complicated failures. Henry Ford

Good for you Dan, both on your car and your interaction with Larson. Good to keep instilling enthusiasm in the younger set!
