Little Hershey

The swap meet was a lot more rain than shine this year but a big thank you to the Rockford T club that puts a great deal of time and effort into this every year. Also a short drive to Bobs antique auto parts from the fairgrounds cannot be passed up. He is a great guy and has more stuff than you can imagine. Had 3 generations of T lovers on the trip and was enjoyed by all

Yes, it was a lot more rain than shine, but as a vendor I did ok. The weather was ok until 12:15 & then the skies opened up and the rain came down. At that point nearly everyone packed up, as I did. I did notice a lot of empty spaces this year - maybe the weather forecast scared them away.
I bought spaces last year but the weather forecast was so bad that I just stayed home.

This is a nice not too large swap meet and I hope it continues and improves. I remember 30 to 40 years ago there were many, many vendors including 4 buildings packed with vendors. Back then the ladies had a great lunch stand in one of the buildings with outstanding home made pies! YUM!!

Oh well, hope for the best and I'll be back again next year.
