Anyone in the Detroit Area want to display their T
I’ve been retired from a large truck leasing company for 4 years and most everyone in the company knew I was a Model T person. I received a call from them today regarding their National Top Tech Competition which will be held this year at the Convention Center in downtown Detroit the last week of July.
They want a Model T to display in front area of the large room where the trucks are staged and the contest is held. This is a private event so no issues with security or people messing with the car on display.
If you’re interested please contact me offline. Thank you!

I guess I must be the only person that takes my T to events…
Pretty disappointing with the lack of responses.

Kenny,
Most of us are using our cars on tour that time of year. Also, if by Convention Center, you mean the former Cobo Hall, it's not an area that a lot of people are excited about taking their cars to. I'm not "Detroit bashing", I'm just saying that there are some people who choose to not take their cars downtown. (I have, and I still will. But, this event is not one for me.)
I suggest you contact the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum. As a "downtown" based organization, with many strong ties to the city, you may find some help there.

Jerry, Thanks for the Piquette suggestion, but that came up dry as well. They said they had a big event that weekend.
My club has donated money to the Plant before, so we’ll probably not dig very deep the next time.

So, you'll punish them because they have another event planned for the same time?Kenny Edmondson wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2023 12:35 pmJerry, Thanks for the Piquette suggestion, but that came up dry as well. They said they had a big event that weekend.
