Air pressure for a 32 x 4.5 TT tire?

Post by TheSaintDiscJockey » Mon Nov 13, 2023 9:34 am

Looking for the proper air pressure for the above tire?

These are old Seiberling tires.
Due for replacement.

Many thanks!

I air my Chippewa tires to 60, they are 32x4.5 WW2 era tires.

Those were darned good tires back in their hey-day. They were literally the most round, well balanced tire on the market, they seldom needed the balance weights so commonly used. If I recall correctly they had a distinct look to them also...with what I'd call a small "lip" extending outward from where the sidewall met the tread. Dad had a set on his '65 Buick Wildcat and they sure rolled smooth. This was just before he then went to radials when they hit the market.
