My Accountant
This is Carl Hillberg. Head of C.E. Hillberg c.p.a. Turlock, Ca. He will be 101 in September. He has an office by the front door and always greets you with a robust hello. One of his sons runs the firm, but I have always seen Carl about the office. This picture of Carl is when he was 4 yrs. old in Turlock.
Another friend of mine in Turlock was Jess Blaker. He owned a concrete company and collected and built many Model T’s. He lived to be in his mid 90’s and he always told me, he attributed his longevity to the fact that building T’s always gave him the dream and desire to look forward to tomorrow.-

Re: My Accountant
Jess Blaker was quite a fixture in the antique automobile world around here! I didn't know him particularly well, but one couldn't really be involved in antique automobiles within two hundred miles of Turlock and not know Jess Blaker. He had a marvelous collection of a wide variety from very early to postwar cars. They ranged from some very nicely restored cars to some of the nicest original cars I have ever seen, and anywhere in between.
He was a regular on the SCVMTFC's Endurance Runs for many years, well known and well respected.
