If You Can't Find One...,

Post by Henry K. Lee » Tue Jul 11, 2023 9:49 pm

Use old school methods. Shunting the heat transfer with heavy brass, inoculating with carbon while keeping it as hot as possible. Old shaft restored!

4 hours later, DONE! Shipping back in the morning.

Wonderful work!
What is it exactly? Input shaft?

Great work! Reminds me of George Schuster and the crew of the New York to Paris race winners annealing, fixing, and re-heat treating parts of their car during the race. :)
