Is Dave Huson still selling parts?

Post by Steve Jelf » Fri Aug 11, 2023 4:24 pm

He doesn't turn up in a forum search. Has he quit?

One of his last was posts was that he selling his stack of T blocks but you had to pick them up. I think that was him. Isn’t he in Colorado?

Sells to those of us in Wyoming Colorado area. Might be getting an axle from him soon along with a rear fender.

I visited Dave in the fall of 2017 and bought parts to rebuild my rear axle and transmission. He was very generous and we spent a very pleasant morning going through his inventory, seeing his cars and talking Ts. We didn't keep in touch, and I noticed he pretty much quit posting to the forum not long afterward.

I hope he is well, so often we have no way to know if our members are "okay". Dave was very active in a Denver area Model T group, perhaps someone who knows him can bring us up to date ?

Rich et al

Had a nice conversation with Dave and wife a few months ago when he inquired to buy something from me. I think he's just slowing down.

I saw a photo of Dave early this summer at a tour in Colorado. He seems to still be active in local events.

The last time that I bought parts from Dave, I seem to remember that he mentioned some kind of health issue, i.e. losing partial eyesight or something, and he was having to depend on his wife, a lot more. I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I remember.

To all concerned with Dave Huson, he is okay. He called me this morning to join him and his son for a Model T drive up to Lyons Colorado for coffee. I couldn't go, but he mentioned he was planning on taking his '16 up there. I true Dave fashion, his '16 is a hand crank only so he is definitely still at it!
