I run a RAJO BB head in my centerdoor. Recently, when going up steep hills, I can feel the clutch slip when I really give it the gas. If I back-off a little, the slipping stops. The car is due for a 10-year engine breakdown/check, so I would like some advice from those of you who run an OHV in your Model T, what type of clutch do you use/recommend. Thanks.

Dave I use Jack Rabbit clutches but do like to set spring pressure at around 1 7/8" and never have problems. I have a high performance overhead set up with over 20 years and still going strong. Just my experience.

When I first started using OHV I thought I needed Turbo 400 clutches. I've got more experience now, and use the stock clutches. This gives a cushion when shifting. Clutches and the brake drum lugs must be in excellent condition.

Stock clutch disks handle the greater torque experienced with an overhead and often last longer. Just my experience.

Stock but make sure where the plates engage isn't worn, this is where the later transmission is beneficial.

Is the TT clutch spring adjustment spec the same as the car? Is the spring the same?

Be sure the parking brake rods are not adjusted too long. If the parking brake lever is all the way forward and you push the neutral pedal it can cause the parking brake lever to slip backward a notch or so, then when you let the pedal out into high the bolt is still on the cam which slightly loosens the clutch.

Stock disks in a 26/27 transmission with good clutch engagement surfaces and a 110 lb spring. Works fine. Tried a WATTs once maybe 10 years ago, bad news in my application, possibly great elsewhere.
