The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

We just got home. Wish we'd had the chance to meet there and visit a while. It was a great event. I'll post a few other pics later when we are unpacked and organized. On Friday there was a special event that took place over indoors in the convention center. Each year, the AACA awards a special award called "the Zenith." It is for the best car shown at an AACA event the previous season. Cars are selected by a special team during the year and they are invited to the Grand National to compete for that award the day before the Grand National. It's one of the top awards n the world of antique automobiles. This year's winner was this amazing 1935 SS1, predecessor of the Jaguar. It had a fabulous history and was an amazing and extremely difficult restoration.
