Early and later manifold studs, when was the change? Did they use a longer stud with the vaporizer manifolds or was there a change in the manifolds with the pre 15 motors or the 15-25 motors. I have 3 long and one short and want to put manifolds back on a 26 motor.
I will start digging thru my assorted stashes and find another long one. The problem is that it is so hot in the garage and hotter in the attic. How I miss the cooler weather where I grew up but this winter Florida will feel better.

Re: Manifold studs
Here is ref. of usage dates from my research means.
The neat thing about the later clamps is they can be used with the early long studs by just reversing the clamp. So this late design meets Henry's criteria for new parts, since the part numbers didn't change.....they can retrofit earlier T's

Re: Manifold studs
The consensus seems to be some time in the 1924 model year. https://www.mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27566
My January 1924 car came to me with the earlier style clamps, but I changed them over to the later style based on the preponderance of opinion. I still have the early clamps in storage in case the consensus changes.
