The Old Ford car rambled along,
It is getting a bit old,
The paint is faded, tires worn,
It still runs good I am told.
It has had a good life,
Has gone so many miles,
As it runs down our street,
It brings to us some smiles.
Who bought this Ford new
’So many years ago go?
Who drove it first away?
I would like to know.
Who were it’s passengers,
Who were in this old car?,
Where did they go,
Did they ride very far?
Who has owned this Ford?
Did they own it very long?
I really, really like to know,
Who did it to belong.
This old Ford is out today,
Beneath blue sky and sun,
The driver takes it down a road,
To have a little fun.
