starter switch in a 1912

I put a starter in my 12 touring after suffering a back injury a couple of years ago. Now trying to figure out the most inconspicuous mounting location for the switch. Any suggestions what kind of switch and where to mount it. Thanks Joe

My '12 has a push button switch that is connected to a Ford solinoid. You can put the switch on the panel under the drivers seat, or put it under the coil box. The possibilities are too numerous to list them all

I also have a solenoid setup.
The switch is mounted in the left corner of the floor board, close to the seat, covered by the floor mat. Well out of the way for no accidental hits.
All hidden. Just a small bump in the floor mat.

Once you use it it won't be hidden . .
Solenoid is the best option, try to get one that you can jump terminals on and mount it hidden but accessible. Tucked up in the frame seems great until "click"

I just installed a starter switch in a 1912 roadster with reproduction body. I mounted the switch in the same location as the later cars but used a bolt on style and mounted from underneath the wood heel board. Didn't need the extension and does not stick out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for the info and will put the button as suggested in the rear left floor corner under the mat. Great idea thanks again.
Now my only problem is the switch and solenoid are not available at the present time. Phoned 3 vendors for a Hershey pickup and that what I am told.
Same goes for a 5 Ft inner speedometer cable for the 12 not available at the present.

The switch may also be an auto parts item or boat hardware.
