TT Rocky Mountain Brake Linkage
Does anyone have a pic of the Rocky Mountain brake linkage? I would like to see pics of the ORIGINAL cable equalizer and attachments at the front end. Anyone have an original brochure of the TT Rocky installation instructions? Thank you.

I don't have a photo of the truck equalizer, but I do of the passenger car version. Since the brake pedal is the same perhaps the truck equalizer may be the same too?

The equalizers on our TT and on our Delivery (car frame) trucks appear to be exactly the same unit, even though the brake manufacturers are different. I see no reason they should/would be different as they both connect to the emergency brake cross shaft the same way, in the same spot.

Originals don't connect to the controller shaft. You must have something else. Keep in mind, originals use a cable, not rods.

Hi Mike,
Because the frame is much taller on a TT the park brake shaft is lower than on a car in relation to the peddals. That may give you some
lever geometry issues. This sounds like a supplier support question.

I am hijacking this old thread with another TT Rocky question. Does anyone know if you need longer hub bolts to mount the new repro Rocky kit for a TT truck? 1926 big drum of course, I don't think the kit came with any hub bolts.

Yes maybe, as would add about 1/8" thickness to the original brake drum that would be install with it. The original bolts would have been just long enough to hold everything together after being peened or staked. But bottom line would be, you will have to look at what you have now to see. Most times I have removed peened nuts/bolts, they were not savable.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
