Thursday Jelf update is great news

Post by George N Lake Ozark » Thu Sep 21, 2023 7:16 pm

πŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›ž BEST UPDATE EVER ON Steve Jelf!!! πŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›žπŸ›ž
First thing Steve's nurse said to me just now is that "Steve is a totally different man today!!!"
He conversed absolutely normal! They talked about The Andy Griffith Show (it was on TV there) and laughed together! Nurse Ashley actually has a '24 Model T, so they've become fast friends! She says he's very lively...then naps a bit. But when he's awake, he's right there!
No visitors today, but he had a very busy day with physical, occupational & speech therapists - He even stood up today!!! They all got together and opened all his Get Well cards and he told them where each sender was from and he was right - every single time!
I was so chuffed to hear all the great news from the nurse, I was brought to tears. I'm still mopping up! GO STEVE!!!

Fantastic! Prayers do get answered! God bless.
And we need to "meet" Nurse Ashley...maybe she'll get on the forum. If she already has, somehow I missed it.
