CAR COVERS for All Weather tips

Hi there, I would like to buy 2 CAR COVERS for All Weather for my 2 Model T car. One for my 1911 touring and 1 for my 1914 speedster. Any suggestions and or tips ? Any experiences you could share. I'm looking for something with good qualities and easy to use outside. Thank you in advance.

What exactly do you you mean "easy to use outside"? Will the cars be stored outside all winter?

A car covered car outside will eventually suffer paint damage from the wind blowing the cover and rubbing the paint off edges , corners, and flat spots.

I have used Covercraft car covers indoors for over 50 years. Bought another one for a second model T just a year ago, same quality material, same good fit. I have used the indoor cover outdoors for a few weeks for sun protection in Texas during the summer one year, but it is not made for outdoor use. Covercraft does sell outdoor covers but I have no experience with them.

There are many makers of car covers out there. If you want one to keep the rain out while parked somewhere on tour I've found that a cover designed to fit a Jeep Wrangler fits my 1917 Touring quite well. I bought this on Amazon <https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09VK ... UTF8&psc=1> and have used it a half-dozen times so far with good luck. It's lightweight and fits in a small package.

For your speedster I would think a cover designed for a small sports car would do the job.

Just remember that a car outside under a cover will sweat with condensation. Proper ventilation is very important.

The best outside all year Model T cover is a $10 K trailer with 2 side vents. No condensation and brass is slow to tarnish. You have an ‘11 and ‘14 and want to store them outside under some kind of cover ?

Thank you all for the all advices, I appreciated. The goal for the car cover it's only for 1-2 day when making tour somewhere without my cover trailer and it's raining during the night...

Two Door. A Model T is 134 inches long - a two door Jeep Wrangler is 167 inches. I hook the front of the cover under the front fenders and stretch it back over the body. I use clamps to hold it in place.

I have a cover craft outdoor rated cover. Made for a model T Tudor. I use it to cover my depot hack under a lean to car port. Allows air to flow through but keeps water out. Problem I have found the web tie down straps deteriorate rapidly. They break and crumble into bits and pieces when exposed to indirect sun light. Only the side of the cover facing the open side of the lean to car port has this problem and it is facing North. car cover side facing brick garage wall is ok. Main car cover does not seem to be affected. It may too crumble when I remove it but so far so good. I would like to know if others have had this problem with cover craft and other brands of car covers.

Depends a lot on how the weather is where you live. An enclosed trailer would be my choice, then you can also use it to reach the start of tours away from your area.
Here we very rarely get snow or hail, but around fall we get very strong winds, strong enough to blow over large trees or blow off branches from deep rooted trees. so even those tent type covers would be a problem. It is known to blow off roofs of houses. These are not tornadoes but usually come from the northeast in fall. So a garage is best and second best would be a covered trailer.
