Cowl lace to hood...rivets...which way?

Post by varmint » Sat Oct 07, 2023 6:51 pm

1926 coupe. Cowl lace to hood...rivets...which way?
No joy looking at pictures in the Ford Service Manual.

Do to rivets poke in from the outside or inside?

It looks like the last eight inches, at the bottom, on both sides is difficult to get to. Do the rivets continue? I had to replace that rust with steel and have no idea if there were even holes there to support rivets.
Thanks,
Vernon
