Steve Jelf 10/27

Post by DHort » Fri Oct 27, 2023 8:33 pm

Jerry just talked to Steve's nurse. She said the drain has been removed, he is doing much better, talking, and making great improvement. The CT scan showed that the bleed has now stabilized. He is still a little confused, but knows where he is and who he is. He is not eating food yet, and has a feeding tube, but hopefully that will change soon. He will likely be moved out of ICU to a regular room and then back to Shirley Ryan Rehab Institute after a couple of more days for more Physical Therapy. Good News.

Thank you for Penny Parker for reporting this today.

Great to hear!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.
