The earlier post with the original tool bag is really interesting. It prompted me to look at the tools a friend gave me years ago with a homemade tool bag. It has an adjustable wrench in it that has Ford script and made in USA on it.
But it has a square end on it but other wise it’s the same size has a T wrench. So what’s it for if it’s not for a T. Here are a couple of photos of the wrench.

The square end was added for 26-7 rear axle drain plugs & continued thru the model A.

What’s interesting it has the original paint on its or an old repaint and the drain plug end looks like it wasn’t ever used. It might be NOS.

I have three of those wrenches in my swap meet stocks. The square end for the diff plug is part of the forging process. It is not machined. As such, it is less than perfectly square and may well not be up to the task fir which is is intended. Hence they show little use at that end too.
