My Return to YouTube, please enjoy the video

Post by ModelTMitch » Sun Oct 22, 2023 9:30 pm

Hi fellow Model T'ers,
Im pleased to inform you all that i have returned to YouTube.
It's been a difficult few years for me, but fortunately it's all worked out good in the end.
To celebrate, I've uploaded a video that's been waiting in the wings for several months... I hope you enjoy it...

There will be more videos to come! Stay tuned!

Great to see you again!
Greetings from Illinois.
We have a 1925 touring as well.
Im glad that the difficult times didnt force you to part with your car.
I've really enjoyed watching your videos, they help me a lot on how to drive the Model T.
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.

Good to have you back..missed your videos. Glad your difficult times have passed or are at least
hopefully manageable. I have a 26 coupe that has kept me semi-sane since retiring. It truly has been a joy! Welcome back!!

It is a pleasure to watch a video where a guy knows what he is doing & not breaking stuff.
Funny aside, there were no annoying commercials.

2-3 minor issues.
You lubed the face of the roller timer. You should also make a point of lubing the roller pin. As you noted in the one you removed, the pin wears.
You might want to put a split pin on your fan arm pivot bolt. I have seen a few back out on not well maintained T's.
Thirdly, It would be great to show how to confirm timing retard before starting. 3:30/9:30 method.

Welcome back. Good video. The first part about driving the T, I couldn't figure why they were driving on the wrong side of the road, then I realized you are upside down where you live!
