Short Steve Jelf Update 12/11/2023

Post by CudaMan » Mon Dec 11, 2023 7:59 am

The latest from Steve's Facebook page (Robert B. Parker):

"As of today, Steve Jelf has a new email address that can ALSO be used for video-conferencing with Steve via FaceTime!
dauntlessgeezer@gmail.com

I will be delivering Steve’s new MacBook to him with this email account up and working in a couple hours. I’ll show him how it works when I get there. I’ll also try to set up this email on his other machine, but given its age and the old OS on it, it may not work.

I’ve also transferred 17.54 GB worth of images from Steve’s camera onto this new computer. He was rather anxious to make sure they weren’t lost. I’ll also give him his camera back.

I’ll repost this to his Model T group when I get there too."

I see that Steve posted a recent brief comment to one of the posts on his page, so Steve is now online and monitoring his Facebook page and the MTFCA forums (at his own pace). :)

Thank you Mark for keeping us updated.

Many of us do not use Facebook including me!

Robert, if Steve gets to reading the Model T "stuff" on his computer, please make sure he gives the therapy people time, during the day, to work with him to insure a "quicker" recovery!

Let me know if you have any issues. I set up that new email address and updated his forum account.

Watchdog, You are welcome to view his videos on YouTube. Search; aqfarn or https://www.youtube.com/@aqfarn

Steve has more model T knowledge in his little toe than I will EVER have.

Enjoy,

Has Steve’s snail mail been forwarded to him? I’m sure there are several Vintage Ford magazines waiting for him. I bet he would love to have them.

While I have very little medical experience, I have seen results from some of our other Model T friends that had Covid-19 and no accident.

The trauma relating to Steves head wound may have been severe enough that he cannot even recognize a Model T.

Several of my older Model T friends had to learn to walk again, and everything else, after the trauma from Covid-19.

I am looking and hoping to hear for more good results for Steve in the near future!
