***1912 Holley 4550 Carburetor (3 screw) Assembly***
Since the 4550 was made between the years of 1911 and 1912, it seems obvious that the 1912 version had to be a "New and Improved" carburetor...in that Holley went from the "2 screw" cover to a "3 screw" cover much like the later Holley G's. Although I couldn't find any reference to a gasket under the Mixing Cover for the G, there was one for the 4550. Although I'm not sure the that cover screws were the same as on the G or H1, I also don't know if the cover itself is a different size or not from the G, but I was lacking a part number for it, so I gave it the G's P/N....if anybody knows what the real part number or even it had one, please let me know.
Fun never quits!
