Build Sheet request

Post by Scott Rosenthal » Thu Dec 05, 2024 10:56 am

I'm searching for a 1916 Couplet Build Sheet that is Mid to late July. I have sent an Email to Benson Ford per this request, but am curious whether MTFCA, may have a specific BFA resource to make this request to. Does someone have such a contact who I could reach out to?
Regards, Scott

Here is the link from the website. However, they only have records for Model Ts 1909 - 1911.

You are probably not getting many responses to this post because as the previous post said, Ford didn't keep accurate records on every unit produced after 1911. It was time consuming and added paperwork and he was more concerned with increasing production with his new assembly line procedures. He definitely didn't include a 'build sheet' like modern cars in the 50's or 60's, had stuffed under a seat cushion.

From the website: "In the summer of 1970, a museum fire destroyed many Ford Motor Company production records."
