Face recognition - hign ranking Ford Officers

Post by dykker5502 » Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:03 pm

Sorry, but I had that journal of fotographs that Elfelt had where I could see there was a lot of pictures missing - well, I found a way to find them all ut a few. I shal spare you more here, but there is a lot of pictures showing the process and interiors of the first asssembly plant in Copenhagen - so important documentation of what's going on.
But aproaching november 1924 where the new factory was inargurated, several visits from Dearborn and maybe also from UK (European HQ was in UK) and ELfelt was hired to take pictures at several occasions.

Here a group is visiting the building site in november 1923 - 1 year before:

Can we identify any?

Again in march 1924 a group from the USA visited Ford inDenmark, and apart from probably seeing the new factory, FMC DK hosted a dinner on the Brøndum restaurant in central Copenhagen. This photo was taken:

Note the small paperflags in the jackets. Can we identify any?

I would not be surprised if both William Knudsen and Charles Soerensen was present at both occasions.

(Click on the pictures and open them in full resulution)

There is only one man that might look familiar. Do not know why. First picture, left side, with a mustache and leather sachel.

No one else has a mustache, so that might have been common in the states, but not in Europe. Makes that man stand out.
