My Anderson timer needs to be replaced due to wear. Was planning to replace it with a new Anderson timer. But was wondering if anyone could recommend a better timer.
Thanks

Re: Replacement Timer Recommendations
I'm partial to the carbon brush timers, be it a TW or the New Day WITHOUT the "S" on the top face of the cover. Just be sure the cam seal is good and not leaking oil. They sont like oil, especially the TW.

Re: Replacement Timer Recommendations
I use original New Day, but with a carbon brush instead of bronze. Some of the previous reproductions have a bad rep. I haven't tried one of the current ones, but I've read they're very good.

Well it depends on what you mean by better, I run an assortment of timers on 5 T's I have, all run Ok but if the better is to be maintenance free, then the E timer is it. I haven't seen or tried the I timer as yet.

Re: Replacement Timer Recommendations
ETimer or ITimer has to be the best timers available currently. Yes, the initial cost is a bit more but after you factor in a life time warranty practically and never needing any type if cleaning or maintenance or not requiring the front cover to be centered correctly the cost seems like a bargain!!
YMMV
