In one of the old forums I found these 2 drawings of rear curtains for Model T
What do we have here? According to above drawings there was no round or oval rear windows on model T's??? Did Copenhagen or Europe had their own designs as they did made the tops in Copenhagen using danisg fabrics etc.
Now looking on this picture taken by Peter Elfelt for FMC A/S on the assembly plant inCopenhagen in august 1923 of a nice Centerdoor body, I notice 2 Torings in the background with oval rear windows in the rear curtain!!!Model T top - what year???

Re: Model T top - what year???
Canadian open car tops had those 2 oval-window lights in the rear curtain. Canada also exported Ts to Europe, and likely supplied the body parts, chassis parts and top parts to Denmark.
Here is 1922 adv. showing that pair of lights.
And the top iron assembly was different than the USA.

Re: Model T top - what year???
I've seen no mention anywhere, that Ford inCanada should supply any parts to Europe or Denmark for that matter, but it may show where they may have gotten there insoiration from
I am pretty sure that the top was made locally as I have other pictures showing a workshop in the factory where they do upholstry and tops. There are also pictures of Touring panels, so they even assembled touring bodies while the closed cars bodies came assembled from the US.

Perhaps, so not real sure, think most all the Ford parts were sent to the foreign branch assembly plants, including upholstery and tops.
Here is photo of a Europe branch showing the assembly of tops to the bodies on the assembly lines.
Top assembly on the left, vertical stacks of top irons, the pads and top cover in the background containers for assembly.
