Allen HCCT to be Auctioned at MTFCI Cadillac Tour

If you ever wanted a HCCT, here is your chance.

When we found this HCCT it had been dropped and badly damaged. Jeff Humble, Ron Patterson and I greed we should repair it and donate it to the Model T Ford Club International Youth Foundation Auction that will be conducted at the 2024 MTFCI annual tour in Cadillac Michigan in July 2024. The proceeds will help fund youth scholarships that are awarded annually.

This is a model 40 Allen HCCT that uses a modified Model T small brake drum for a spark indicator. When it was found the cast iron hand crank was broken in two pieces, the wooden crank handle was missing, and the two-meter mounting panel and meters were in pieces. All repairs have been made, the brake drum spark indicator has been nickel plated, and the meters have been restored and calibrated.
This will make a nice turn key addition to any Model T tool collection.
Below is the notice to be placed in the upcoming Model T Times.

Donors:
Ron Patterson, Bob Cascisa, Jeff Humble

I drive a Model T ... Microseconds don't matter :D

For every Absolute Model T Fact there are at least three exceptions.
